Wythougan Valley Preservation Council will be holding a free, informal public open house at Summit Chapel-School from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 17. The one-room schoolhouse is located two miles east of Highway 331 on Highway 10. The building was restored by Wythougan, Marshall County’s county-wide preservation organization, in 2001 for people to experience what one-room schools of the 19th century were like.
