DESCRIPTION:The Marshall County Historical Society is sponsoring a Brown Bag Lunch & Lecture Event on Friday\, March 14th\, from Noon – 1:00 p.m. Learn about making real maple syrup the old-fashioned way. \nLocal resident Jonathan Cook will share all the steps from tapping the trees to knowing when the syrup is done. He follows age-old methods for producing this sweet concoction. Cook will also discuss how the earliest Marshall County inhabitants\, the Potawatomi and other tribes\, made it before the European settlers arrived. \nThe Brown Bag event will be at the Marshall County Historical Society & Museum\, 123 N.
